A Registered Technology Transfer Practitioner (RTTP), Robert is Director of 511 Innovation, a UK specialist company supporting Technology Transfer, Business Development, Knowledge Exchange, and building new business ventures.

With >15 years’ research commercialization experience in the University sector in a leading UK TTO, Robert has nurtured and mentored numerous early-stage spinouts and start-ups and as a UK Royal Society Entrepreneur in Residence, guided Edinburgh Napier spinout, PlusPEP, to the finals of Scottish EDGE18 Wildcard and the CONVERGE Challenge business plan competitions.

A reviewer on EU Proof of Concept Fund, he has an international outlook and led UI-Global’s collaborative venture with South African spinout, NutriGO SA, facilitating the setup of a new business, BiaGo Ltd, and driving the UK market entry of the Niselo plant-based drink.

A member of PraxisAuril KE and ASTP networks, 511 Innovation has worked across the UK & EU innovation funding landscape and is positioned to support collaboration on UK, pan-European and trans- continent projects.
